Crystals, astrology, orgasms + the moon … oh my!

Here’s how I’m using crystals, Astrology, the moon + orgasms to support me with the transition in the seasons and the transition I’m experiencing in my personal life.

I just returned from an epic (and much needed!) mini retreat in Sedona, Arizona. Have you been? If so, you know that words or pictures cannot express the awe inspiring beauty and magic of Sedona.

There are few places that make me feel alive and ignite a feeling of deep peace and soul clarity. Sedona is one of them. A few other that come to mind are Ubud in Bali, Mount Shasta in California and the big island of Hawaii.

Do you have a place or places that speak to your soul? Do you feel drawn to visiting a certain city or country? Maybe you can’t quite explain it, but you have a feeling of “I really need to go there”.

If a place is calling to you or if you feel drawn to visiting somewhere, listen to it! We are wise beyond measure and trust me when I say there is a reason you are drawn to that place.

With the change in seasons, or as I like to say, “Birkenstock weather to Ugg weather” and my recent trip to Sedona, I’m feeling especially tapped into my inner woo woo.

Here’s how I’m using crystals, Astrology, the moon + orgasms to support me with transition in the seasons and the transition I’m experiencing in my personal life.

I’ve always felt drawn to crystals, but lately more so. In particular Aquamarine and Tourmaline.

2017 has been an intense year. On. So. Many. Levels! There’s no denying that.

If you’re an empath (like me!) or feeling especially overwhelmed by, well, everything I would highly recommend getting some tourmaline in your life.

Black Tourmaline can be used to both repel and protect against negativity. You can wear it as jewelry or in your pockets, or even hold a piece in each hand as you meditate.

If you’re new to crystals I would suggest finding a crystal shop to go to in person (not online). Walk around the shop with an open mind and see what crystal or crystals you’re drawn to. You’ll find that you’re drawn to one or a few in particular. Trust that.

Each crystal has its own healing properties and there’s a reason that you’ll be drawn to one stone or another. Again, listen to your inner wisdom here.

When I was in Sedona I was drawn to Aquamarine, the stone of courage and exactly what I need in my life at this moment.

Also, when you get your crystals you’ll need to clear the energy. You can do this by running them under warm water for 3 minutes and then putting them out under a full moon to activate them.

This stuff is pure magic. Trust it.

I’ve been fascinated by Astrology since I was a teenager, but as some point during my (failed) attempt to conform to the norm I lost touch with the fascination and passion. My recent trip to Sedona reignited that passion and in a big way! Actually, I’m going to begin studying it and bringing it into my work.

In Sedona I had a HUGE epiphany… everything I teach is all intertwined, but it begins with Astrology and birth charts. Hence, the desire to study it.

Your birth chart is a map of where all the planets and stars were at the moment of your birth.

When you know your birth chart you can then pair that knowledge with your personality types (I suggest the Enneagram & Myers Brigg) and values. This will help you begin to see an in depth picture of who you are and from there anything is possible!

I’m a Sagittarius through and through (which I love being), but knowing this allows me to see my strengths and my weaknesses, which moving forward I can use to help guide me in my life and business.

This stuff is powerful. Embrace it.

I’m searching for a bombdiggity bomb astrologer to work and collaborate with. Know one? Let me know in the comments below.

A woman I admire posted on Instagram that she has a goal to have an orgasm a day. When I first read it I gasped! I couldn’t believe she said that on social media! What would her mom think?!?

And then another woman I admire said that the power of the Universe is between a woman’s legs. This time I thought “a-the-fuck-men”.

Here’s my truth, I believe we live in a man’s world and as women we have become greatly disconnected from the things that make us amazing… our vagina’s! AKA our power source!

We hide our sexuality in fear of being seen, in fear of being too sexual, too powerful, or feeling too much pleasure.

We deserve pleasure in all areas of our lives and we deserve to have an orgasm a day. There, I said it! What will my mom think?!? Probably, a-the-fuck-men!

I’m on a journey to reconnect with MY sexuality, have an orgasm a day and to connect with MY power source, and it’s been life changing.

This stuff is cosmic. Unleash it.

The moon:

Along the lines of being disconnected from our sexuality, I believe we’re also greatly disconnected from our bodies.

As women our bodies are directly connected to the moon and the seasons. Hello periods (aka moon cycles!).

But this is something we rarely talk about. It’s taboo to talk about our periods (and orgasms!)… wtf?

We ebb and flow each month. Our cycles follow the cycles of the moon. By hiding this we become disconnected from a part ourselves.

I’m a newbie in studying this, but I know it’s powerful and I know there’s much I don’t understand.

I invite you to explore this for yourself. To embrace La Luna and our divine connection to her.

This stuff is ancient. Honor it.

I’ve spent a lot of time and energy holding back my inner woo woo, but there’s no denying that this stuff is ancient and fucking magical.

Here’s to no more hiding this part of myself.
