Just like a Phoenix, she too will rise.

And just as the Phoenix rose from the ashes, she too will rise. Returning from the flames, clothed in nothing but her strength, more beautiful than ever before. -Shannen Heartz

And just as the Phoenix rose from the ashes, she too will rise. Returning from the flames, clothed in nothing but her strength, more beautiful than ever before.  Shannen Heartz

The above quote speaks to the depths of my soul and describes the last year of my life.

Shedding layer after layer of what no longer serves me so I can continue to step into my power and become the woman I know I was born to be.

This last month I shed a HUGE layer.

There was a time when my ego would hold on for dear life which only makes the process harder!

Now I know what’s meant to stay will stay and what’s meant to go will go.

Shedding this layer led me to taking an honest look at my life.

It was humbling to be brutally honest about what’s working and what’s not in my life and business.

It’s interesting how much our human mind holds onto to things that aren’t working even when we know it doesn’t serve our highest good. Fear of change can often keep us paralyzed and stuck even though we know we’re meant for more.

With this shedding I adapted the mindset “let what wants to stay stay and what wants to go go”.

Surrendering. Accepting. Releasing “control”.

Allowing things to naturally fall away.

Becoming an empty vessel.

And from this emptiness,

I’m rebuilding.

Rebuilding from soul desire and purpose, not lack or need.

I feel free, fiercely authentic and unapologetically aligned with the woman I know I was born to be.

Today, I invite to do the same and take an honest look at your life.

What’s working?

What’s not?

Be honest.

Brutally fucking honest.

And if it’s not working why are you holding onto it?

What would it take to let go?

There’s no wrong or right here.

Just self exploration.

When everything falls away, what’s left?

Build from there.

This isn’t about closing doors or an ending.

It’s a new beginning.

A beginning to your rising!

Onward.

xo,

Em
